“Nesting Season…”

I want to talk to you about that important moment in the woman’s life as she is still carrying her baby where she has this overwhelming desire to prepare her house for her new baby.

Let me tell you what I did while pregnant with all my 3 boys. I began washing all their baby clothes way in advanced, cleaned my entire bedroom (btw, was prohibited to touch dangerous chemicals), I made sure all the pots and pans were cleaned, even wanted to make sure all my hubby’s clothes were squeaky clean, made sure baby items were in order, and the list goes on… and the baby was not even there yet! Funny right?
But I was getting mentally prepared for his arrival!
Let’s not forget physically and emotionally too…

We didn’t see my baby yet but we knew the baby was arriving very soon! I knew baby had a due date but we wanted to actively wait for baby’s arrival. See, I was actively preparing for the arrival of my baby because I knew the promise will be fulfilled—it’s just a matter of time.

Like any woman expectant of a baby, she will do whatever it takes and wait however long just to have that beautiful baby in her hands.

This is the same kind of attitude we should have when we receive a word from GOD! The Bible tells us His word is a seed that has been planted in good soil (a heart receptive to His word). Not only does it take root but it needs TIME to grow. Only when we cultivate a relationship with Jesus will we see His words come to life in our lives!
Praying is a way we can we cultivate a deeper relationship with our Heavenly Father! Connected to Him we can see things in our life COME TO LIFE even when we can’t see it with our physical eyes- this is called FAITH.
I don’t know how long you have been waiting for promises to be fulfilled in your life but I want to encourage you to keep the faith in Jesus, believe Him at His word & continue to pray until you see breakthrough. And even after you receive what He has promised you, KEEP PRAYING.

If you are still waiting, prepare for the arrival in prayer! Yes, wait on the Lord. He’s on His way! He may not arrive early but He is never late. HE HAS NOT FORGOTTEN ABOUT YOU.

Yet I am confident I will see the Lord’s goodness
while I am here in the land of the living.

Wait patiently for the Lord.
    Be brave and courageous.
Yes, wait patiently for the Lord.
