“Purpose…”

“While Jeremiah was still confined in the courtyard of the guard, the word of the Lord came to him a second time: “This is what the Lord says, he who made the earth, the Lord who formed it and established it—the Lord is his name: ‘Call to me and I will answer you and tell you great and unsearchable things you do not know.’”
‭‭Jeremiah‬ ‭33:3
Notice God spoke to Jeremiah when he was STILL confined in a prison cell. But God’s purpose for his life was greater than the circumstances around him. See, the word of God over your life and His purposes for your life will always be greater… will always be higher than you!

God isn’t after your resources, your titles, or your abilities. God is seeking your availability…your willingness to serve him. To bring Him glory wherever He has placed you. He also wants your surrendered heart, to His will… His ways.

Let the story of Daniel remind you that he was thrown into a lion’s den… while they to tried to inflict his spirit with fear, yet God’s powerful hand shut the mouths of those hungry lions and Daniel came out unharmed. Why? Because God’s purpose is bigger!

Daniel became an important figure in God’s plan!

Let Joseph’s story remind you that others could remove your coat of many colors, throw you in a cistern and leave you to die but when God has given you a dream, the dream/ God’s purpose keeps you alive! God kept him.

I love that in Genesis 50:20, he confronts the very brothers who sold him, “You intended to harm me, but God intended it for good to accomplish what is now being done, the saving of many lives.” God’s purpose was bigger!

Joseph became an important piece in God’s plan.

We have only caught a glimpse of all GOD can do right now. He still has so much more to reveal to us along the way. But It’s our job to continuously obey him and call on Him. Ask him “What are we doing together, Lord?”
Then leave the outcome to Him.

You are also part of God’s plan. You have a purpose.

“My thoughts are nothing like your thoughts,” says the Lord. “And my ways are far beyond anything you could imagine…so my ways are higher than your ways and my thoughts higher than your thoughts.”
‭‭Isaiah‬ ‭55‬:‭8‬-‭9‬ ‭NLT‬‬
